Proceedings

Our outward bound meeting started with everyone meeting outside the Pretoria Gautrain station @ 10.00 am

We then were treated with a tour of Voortrekker monument and the new exhibition of 300 bronze statues at the fountains park   all organised by Francois Van Rooyen  of Pretoria backpackers.

We then proceeded to Pretoria backpackers for a lekker lunch sponsored by Francois

With 26 participants we started the meeting with everyone introducing themselves and what their company has to offer

We were so lucky to have Shanaaz  attending she was able to answer all SAYTC questions and queries

  • It was agreed to work closely together and a whatup group was launched
  • 15% Vat increase was discussed and we all felt that we needed an expert to explain the consequences and what was best practice for us in our individual businesses. Lorraine to discuss at EXCO and perhaps SATSA
  • Lorraine urged everyone to book their space for The SAYTC conference 25/26 Sept 2018
  • Shanaaz introduced the Sho’ Left campaign and agreed to be the go to person for further information

We had a general chat about working together and how important it is to collaborate

Meeting ended 3.30 pm.
